Small things decide how a table feels.

The T-bar is one of ours. Solid iron, cool to the touch, set beside each plate so a knife has somewhere to go between bites. It weighs more than it needs to, which is the point. It does not slide. It does not clatter.

You have seen them at BLACKBARN whether or not you noticed them, which is the highest compliment a detail can earn. They are the reason the linen stays clean and the reason a plate looks composed even mid-meal.

Nothing about them is decorative. They exist because someone thought carefully about the twenty seconds between courses.

Set of four, for the table you are already setting more carefully than you admit.
