Our 10th Anniversary: What It Means to Us

Ten years is more than just a number. It’s:

  • A decade of meals shared- birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, reunions

  • A decade of menu evolution- balancing innovation with signature favorites

As part of our anniversary celebration, we’re rolling out a three-course family-style prix fixe menu featuring guest favorites like Wild Mushroom Toast, Butternut Squash Ravioli, and Apple Cider Doughnuts.

This milestone also inspired The BLACKBARN Cookbook by Chef John Doherty. To celebrate this milestone in a way that lasts beyond the dining room, we’re proud to announce the upcoming release of The BLACKBARN Cookbook, written by Chef John Doherty and releasing in September 2025.

Much like the restaurant itself, the cookbook tells the story of farm-to-table dining in the heart of New York City, with recipes inspired by the seasons, the farmers who make our menus possible, and the dishes that have become BLACKBARN signatures.
